Justus Joseph

certified professional dog trainer

Justus is what happens if you mix Sailor Moon, Glenda the Good Witch, and Snow White together — if they were all also obsessed with dogs. Originally from British Columbia, Canada where she grew up surrounded by forests, animals, and a library of books, Justus has called Canada, Japan, and the United States home. She currently lives in Chicago with her husband, six dogs, two cats, and a rotating crew of foster animals. When she’s not working with dogs and their pawrents, she’s creating art in graphite, paint, and clay or writing stories with at least two dogs in her lap. Lineage of love (noun)

1) The deep, knowing connection shared between you and your first dog that influences the relationships you form with every other dog you encounter and have in your life.

 

2) An intuitive understanding shared with another being that gives meaning to your life, broadens your awareness and possibilities, and touches your soul.

Justus holds an overweight, eyeless Toy Fox Terrier named Homer the day she adopted him back in 2010.
